Welcome To Glasgow Handball Club

The Glasgow Handball Club was founded in the September of 2000 by Alasdair "Baba" Anderson and Kepa Mendibil and was one of the founder teams of the new Scottish Handball League.
Glasgow HC started with a only a Men's team of 10 players. We have now grown to a Men's and Ladies section of over 30 players and will continue to grow. We currently train at the University of Strathclyde and Haghill Sports Centre.
The remaining players from that first season is Andy Burns and Cameron Arnott who has taken a sabatical to Oz.

Glasgow men have a tough game against Cumbernauld on Saturday (in Blackburn) in which both teams are defending their 100% start to the season.  This is sure to be a good tough game for both teams and no-one will want to lose this game.  Strong benches will be key as both sets of starting 7s will be the strongest available.

The women's league finally begins with Glasgow defending their crown against Tryst and Edinburgh.  As Edinburgh are the host team, it means that both Glasgow and Tryst will be playing 2 games in a row, where Edinburgh gets to rest in between their games.  All 3 teams are in good shape and have impressed in the development games already, however I believe Glasgow have the edge again this year.
