Welcome....

The Glasgow Handball Club was founded in the September of 2000 by Alasdair "Baba" Anderson and Kepa Mendibil and was one of the founder teams of the new Scottish Handball League.

Glasgow HC started with a only a Men's team of 10 players. We have now grown to a Men's and Ladies section of over 30 players and will continue to grow. We currently train at the Kelvin Hall and at the University of Strathclyde but that will be changing in the near future.

On Monday, the most exciting event of Glasgow Handball life happened ( no no  nothing to do with a Scottich cup final against Tryst Laughing), it was the AGM.

Many things were discussed about next year and hopefully it will be a better year for the men team.

Hope to see some kind of sum up of the meeting soon of this web site, I even may write it.

JB, former treasurer Cool (good luck Anita !)

GHC women won the Scottish Cup at Inverclyde on 17 May 2008, after defeating Edinburgh after a tense penalty shoot out.  The Scottish Cup is the final domestic trophy that can be won, and GHC can add this to the League title and also University Championships in which has been a very big year for the club.

GHC were 4 goals down at half time and quickly turned things around at the start of the second half and key goals by Ania Kesiak got GHC back in their stride.
